  We stayed in the Houston room after leaving a very unacceptable cabin. Cannot say enough about the owners kindness. The room was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. The bed was awesome!! Wiki
  stay there again when on the area. A Hidden treasure.

  Wonderful place for a get away!!! Had a group of girlfriends stay together to celebrate a 60th bday!!! Had a great time--plenty of room, clean , and very accommodating!! Highly recommend!!

  Several of my friends and I had a girl's night out and stayed at The Verandas. The owners went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. The rooms were clean,
  spacious, and comfortable. We girls felt safe and secure. I would highly recommend The Verandas to anyone looking for a Highland Lakes getaway.
