The Sam Houston Room

The Houston Room is named for a statesman of the Republic and State of Texas, Sam Houston.

The back entrance to this room is a set of French doors, which you can open wide and enjoy the view of the pond and water garden.   It features a sitting area to watch television with basic cable and a comfy vintage sofa.   There is a K-Cup coffeemaker and coffee provided in your room, and a cozy dining nook.  This room has a king-sized bed and heirloom furnishings. The bathroom in this room has a contemporary tub and shower with nostalgic decorative touches.  Slip out onto the front veranda and relax in one of the rocking chairs as you listen to the birds sing in the morning or the frogs "sing" at night.
